New construction house in Mebane, NC***** - Mebane 27302 The house planned is a two story house with a walk out basement. I have architectural test plans in .pdf format if anyone wants more specific details. The above grade finished space is 2400 ft-2 with two full baths (master, and upstairs guest bath) and a half bath on the first floor. The master bath will have a shower, garden tub, two vanities, and a stool. The shower will be done by myself as will the installation of the garden tub. The guest bath will have two vanities, a shower/tub combo, and a stool. The half bath on the first floor will have a sink and stool. THe kitchen will by typical with a sink in the island. In the unfinished basement I would like to have rough ins for a future full bathroom (stool, sink, and shower/tub) as well as water and drain supply to a utility room that has the washer, dryer, hot water heater, and large sink basin. The house does not have city water and sewage so hookups to the well and septic system will need to be done also. I am hoping to break ground sometime in July.

Bathroom remodel (possibly two) - Durham, 27713 We just bought an older split level home in SW Durham. We have two bathroom remodeling issues that we'd like help with. First, the full bathroom in the upstairs needs a new tub faucet installed and needs new tile all around the tub (with concrete board installed behind it). Second (and this we may not fix right away), there is only a half bath in the lower level which we'd like to convert to a full bath. We'll probably need to bump out the bathroom wall into the adjoining utility room to accomplish this. The dryer (or possibly the hot water heater) in the utility room will have to be relocated to accomodate the new shower. Nothing too fancy on either job -- we do not have a big budget. We just want a nice workable full bath in the upper level and a lower level that has a toilet, sink and shower. If possible, please give us some kind of very rough estimate as to what this might cost. I know you'll need to look at the projects to give us a real working estimate, but something very ballpark would help alot. We need to move in to the house in a few weeks, so we are ready to get things rolling. Thanks in advance for your time.
